keep plugging away. your going in the right direction and not too shabby for a 15 year old.

don't get married or have kids and keep to your dreams. that's the best advice i can give.

Everybody is your critic. The harsher the better. learn to reverse your thinking in terms of insults and consider it constructive criticism. It takes a lot for a person to go out of their way to say something nice, why shouldn't that apply to the latter? and practice.

one word of practical advice based off what i see: stay away from bevel/emboss like that, especially on grungy fonts, and try to stay away from grungy fonts. do your own texturing.

Always remember that Photoshop Tutorials are NOT teaching you how to design. They are teaching you concepts of using the tool. Take what you learn from them and apply them to your designs.
