The Metallica Design looks awesome, I don't get why this wouldn't pop up there, but the all shall perish ones aren't really good at all dude.

think they both equally don't offer anything of real importance, especially the skeleton witch design, looks like a bunch of random shit just thrown together. The ASP design may not be great, but it flows a lot better, that is for sure.

Flows better than what? I was just pointing out that somebody probably saw his design as a rip off of that Skeletonwitch design. Whether or not that is the case.

Flows better than the other works he posted? The second piece is decent but in my own opinion, it's another native themed piece with a wolf on some dudes head plus a geometric shape. I can't really see that bottom piece being a rip either. I would suggest drawing custom type for all shall perish also, unless they don't accept that which in that case I would just steer clear of them. Keep at it bud.

Hey Guys. Thanks for the feedback. The skeleton witch is not a rip, but I can see what they are similar - SWH and horns. The logo on the All Shall Perish t-shirts is a custom logo I was asked to design for them. They are using it on a shirt as just a logo. Metallica is a native themed design for the Of Wolf and Man song. Different slant on the lyrics. My main concern in posting is why they were not allowed up on mintees. Whether you like the design or not is subjective, but I think the quality of work is good enough.

Well, sometimes "good enough" doesn't cut it. If that's your opinion of your own work, I think you should take the back into photoshop and work more on them until thy are better than just "good enough".

Modify a tee It should replace the current image and not make you change the filename. It's one of the most commonly reported bugs in the system. 2. Add "low level moderator" This is more like "User" than a moderator. They will see the "Approve" link in the tees section and will see the magnifying glass, thumbs up/down but when they click the up/down it will just increment one of the two fields per tee design: - upvotes - downvotes We'll add an admin setting for: - minimum upvotes to automatically approve tee - minimum downvotes to automatically reject tee When enough upvotes or downvotes occur, the tee moves from "purgatory" to rejected or the main tees listing. If a normal "Moderator" approves or denies a tee in here, it trumps any of this crap and moves it to the main tees listing or the rejected area immediately. Low level moderators CANNOT upvote/downvote tees that are approved or denied already. Only purgatorial tees :) 3. Skip the queue checkbox Admins (for now, maybe moderators later) should be able to see a check box on the user profile page. If this box is checked for that user, their tees automatically publish to the web site and skip the entire queue process. Thanks Craig I saw that today too. Hopefully that'll open things up a bit. I was mainly miffed about the metallica design as I wanted to show it alongside all the other Metallica stuff people did for them. Too late now.

just saying I thought it might have been do to a factor beyond the art, I really like the metallica one.

Thanks Bedlam. I think it must be down to personal choice. Nothing wrong with that, just seems a shame for me right now.

gotcha. Eff being humble man, it's your own work, you're supposed to "fucking love" your work. ;) if you didn't, you wouldn't be posting them online for us to see. You should be like "I dunno why these designs didn't get on Mintees, because I fucking love them...they probably didn't approve them because the level of awesome was too high" hahaha. or you know...along those lines.

All my designs get constantly denied...I dont understand. ..not to be an asshole but there are some pretty mediocre shirts that get approved on there...doesn't make any sense to me...almost seems like it's built as a monument to a handful of dudes who just pick their favorites an deny everybody else

Haters gonna hate. Should make you want to work harder. As for the designs up there, yeah, I agree with you. Not a huge fan of the first and third, but the Metallica one is pretty awesome. I think the new system will help with this sort of stuff.

just droped you an email Sean, Dont worry about Mintess, it is exactly as Rottinggraphics has described it as, thats what happens when an emptees user starts an emptees site. Its a place full of haters and the feedback you get there on the whole is pretty useless.
