please give me some criticism and suggestions

At first the animal skull looked like an eye ball to me. I am not sure if that was on purpose, but anything that confuses your audience could be a negative. Also, I would like it better without flipping and mirroring it.

Agree with thirsty fly, at first glance I had no idea what I was looking at..thought it was an owl head made of trees, looking closer I see a bird skull and a hand holding a sword. I am just not sure what your intention was either. Making me go cross-eyed staring at it. ...so...what exactly is it that we are looking at, a stylized playing card kind of illustration,(ex: how the face cards are illustrated in mirror image)?

and yet, i'm liking the quality of the line work regardless
