haha sad but true

yeah i visit this site often, it's really great. and yes, i have a story for you guys, not with a client but a former boss. that is no joke it really happened like that: one day a printed proof came in the mail from the print shop in china, so we could tell them if the colors are ok and if they could start to print the job. there were some variations and i wasn't happy with it, but my boss insisted that my display is adjusted wrong and the printed colors were right. it was just calibrated 2 weeks before. BUT what he meant was not the calibration or the contrast, he meant the angle i look at my screen. so he sat in my chair, "adjusted" my monitor until it was bend back as far as it got and lowered the height of my chair until the colors on screen looked almost right. he said if i would take a beer crate and put the monitor on it and look from down there the colors would look right and i should give them a go. thinking about drawing a comic about it to send it to cfh too :D

I just blew two hours on this site. Hilarious.
