yeh it's a bit ridiculous, I posted a thread about starting a team for charity with everyone on the site and it got bumped three pages back.

Removing my info and email from this website, I have a feeling whoever is fucking with this site is sending out spam email. I have been getting a crazy amount of spam, and think this site is the cause. Gotta get your shit together guys it's a bit ridiculous. Take the site down and fix the code.

Ouch, yeah, I just finally decided to come back here after several months because every time I tried to even GOOGLE THE SITE, a trojan would pop up on my anti-virus. I really won't risk that a second time. It's a great site here, but I don't think the exclusivity will be worth much of a damn if no one even bothers to stop by because of problems. Would hate to see it die because of hackers.

hope it gets better after that. even my favourite "Vinyl junkies" thread is f'ed up beyond recognition. maybe there's a better way to "filter" the real people from bots (or whatever it is), when signing up. just look, how many "people" signed up in the last couple of hours (and days for that matter).

Yeah, there's a weird issue with putting a captcha on sign up forms but we're working not that too. Once we have that locked there shouldn't be any more problems.
