kind of a shame to use a grunge font over such an awesome illustration. why didn't you just write it out by hand? would take this over the top for sure. -

Totally. I gave the dude a bunch of choices and he wanted this font. I had actually just used this font as a placeholder for a font that had a subtle texture treatment. O-well. -

wow, this is right up my alley. phenomenal illustrations. i was going to chime in about the type, but i sympathize with you 100% when a client pushes for that type you're almost embarrassed by. still, such great art overshadows any reservations you should have. can't wait to see more by you -
