i like it except that the e looks too thick on the top and bottom. i'd maybe go more like the top of the m. it's just too heavy.

Thanks for the comment! I can see your point but I have to disagree. I actually tried to make it thinner when I designed the logo but we chose the thicker version.

Here's the logo with thinner "e" to see what it looks like:

i'd love to hear more about your decisions as you create a logo for a band. is there any significance to the the "I"s within the "O"s?

Those were already in the original font I used and I actually wanted to remove them but the band wanted to keep them.

The thick M would be okay if you got some more texture on it man. Its just too white, thats the reason why its looking so heavy and not fitted in
